The significance of deLIGHTed talks Asia @ GILE 2026 lies not in any individual speaker or organization, but in the complete ecosystem represented across the event.

The lineup spans the full spectrum of the healthy lighting ecosystem: from the global Good Light movement championed by GLG; the international lighting design expertise represented by International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD); the healthy building and Living Lab perspectives brought by International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and Delos ; the international design community and life-centered lighting discussions represented by Virtual Lighting Design Community ; the control protocol and data interoperability expertise represented by Digital Illumination Interface Alliance and standards organizations; to the implementation capabilities of LED, luminaire, controls, measurement, and lighting software companies—alongside the active participation of China’s scientific, medical, design, association, and industry communities.

Jan Denneman | Good Light Group

Chairman of the Board of Good Light Group (GLG), Honorary Ambassador and past President of the Global Lighting Association, and former Vice President Industry Associations at Philips Lighting. Jan will participate remotely in the June 8 Good Light Wake-up Call / LED WG closed-door meeting and deliver an opening keynote video address, providing a global perspective and the core spirit of the Good Light movement for Asia’s actions. Jan will not participate in the June 9–11 Focus Group and Action Day Sessions.

Designer and one of the Chief Editors of the Indoor Space Healthy Lighting Design Standard of the Architectural Electrical Branch of the China Building Decoration Association.
